Case Involving 14th Amendment Due Process Right. In 1987, the Eleventh Circuit decided the Taylor v. Ledbetter case Read more, which determined that the child welfare system that takes children into their custody owe the children the 14th Amendment Due Process right to keep them safe from harm. Justice for Kids is expanding its practice to Georgia and continuing its legacy of protecting children throughout the US.
